Cheruti and Polonsky will receive support of 500,000NIS ( 145,625$ ) Aon Israel, the representative of the world's largest insurance broker, announced Monday that it is adopting two young swimmers: Meiron Cheruti and Lea Polonsky.
The two swimmers will receive financial support of half a million shekels until the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020 and later until the Olympic Games in Paris 2024. The two, members of the Maccabi Haifa Swimming Association, are considered especially talented and promising athletes, receiving financial support from a leading business body for the first time. Ilan Beck, Chairman and CEO of AON Israel said, "The decision to adopt the two impressive athletes on their way to the Olympic Games is in line with the company's perception of community contribution and excellence, achievement and professionalism."
