Israeli Arena Swim Cup

The Arena Israeli Swimming opened and will last four days at the national pool at the Wingate Institute.

Due to its being a "target competition," a very high level of competition is expected, in which most of Israel's senior and young swimmers will be fully prepared and will try to take advantage of the opportunity to set criteria for international summer missions.

Among the big names it will be interesting to watch the Israeli national team swimmers, who have been training for the past few months in the USA together with the SwimMACC Carolina team and coach David Marsh will arrive in Israel with the swimmers; Yakov Toumarkin, Marcus Schlesinger, Andi Murez, Liran Konovalov and David Gamburg. Another swimmer who will come to compete after a long training period abroad (Switzerland) and from which we will witness the fastest swim will be Jonathan Kopolev. Other swimmers who will provide an interesting performance: Amit Ivri, Keren Siebner, Zohar Shikler, Chaya Zabdulof Roni Baveh, Guy Barnea, Meron Heruti, Gil Kizler, Yonatan Batasha and Ilia Gladishev.

As for the criteria competition, there is expected to be a close and fascinating competition between the leading young swimmers and swimmers, who will also compete for positions in the teams that went to international competitions in the summer: Denis Locatav, Itay Carmi, Tomer Frenkel, Alon Shemi, Ron Polonsky, Leah Polonsky, Aviv Barzilai, Anastasia Gorbenko, and David Gerchik.
